For Investors
Invest in what lasts.
Capital for people who care what they own — established American ranches, farms, and family businesses, held by owners who intend to keep them.
Preservation, held for generations.
We invest the way we own — for the long term, with discipline, and with the people who built the business still at its heart.
Omega is an emerging manager, based in Denver, Colorado. We invest alongside our partners deal by deal today, and we are building toward our first fund with a long-term anchor partner. Either way, we are pursuing our platform anchors: the established ranches, processors, contractors, and family businesses that each of our strategies is built around. From each anchor, we build outward — acquiring what strengthens it, preserving what makes it durable, and adding to the legacy that is already there.
That makes this a different kind of investment. Most end as a line on a statement. Ours are meant to be visited: the ranch where the cattle are raised, the plant where the beef is cut, the crew that keeps a county’s roads open, the landmark resort you can bring your family to. Our investors can see where their capital goes and what it supports — and know that it is keeping jobs, skills, and working land in American hands.
Two ways to partner
Choose the relationship that fits you.
Some partners want a single investment they can see and understand. Others want to help build something larger from the start. We welcome both.
Anchor capital partner
For a family office or institution that wants a long-term, programmatic relationship rather than a single deal. One anchor partner commits across our platforms over several years, helps shape the program from the beginning, and sees each opportunity first. Partnership terms are discussed privately.
Deal-by-deal co-investment
For investors who prefer to choose each investment. Every acquisition is held in its own entity, with its own documents and reporting, so you know exactly what you own and can visit it.
How the structure works
We are the patient owners, so our investors don’t have to be.
For the business
We hold the companies we acquire for the long term and don’t force a sale on a fund’s clock. That patience is what protects the business, its people, and the community it serves — and what lets us preserve it, then grow it.
For our investors
Your capital is not an open-ended commitment. Each investment is structured with a defined path to liquidity in mind — through distributions, recapitalization, refinance, or new capital — on hold periods consistent with the broader alternative-investment marketplace, and with no mandate of a sale.
Investors are paid first; the firm earns last. The business stays in steady hands, and the capital behind it follows a clear, intended timeline.
How we underwrite
Rigorous, risk-first, and grounded.
Every business is read for its downside before its upside, and every assumption is tested against the real world.
What we buy
Established, profitable, cash-generative businesses — founder- or family-owned, with healthy margins. We underwrite companies that are already sound, not turnarounds.
How we read risk
Succession and key-person risk, operational continuity, customer and supplier concentration, balance-sheet strength, input and commodity exposure, and the durability of relationships. Downside first.
How we build durability
Anchor assets, owned supply, and a hedging overlay where it applies — with conservative capital structures and succession-aligned terms. We don’t over-leverage what we mean to keep.
Managing risk through the hold
Commodity-hedging discipline, real operational engagement, and no forced-exit clock that would pressure a poor decision.
How we validate
Every assumption is corroborated against real data and comparable operators. Nothing is modeled on hope.
Who this is for
Aligned capital partners.
Preservation works best when everyone behind a business wants the same thing for it. These are the partners we build alongside — people and institutions who measure success in years, not quarters, and who care what their capital does.
Family offices
Families who think in generations and want their capital to reflect it — backing real businesses they can understand, visit, and be proud of.
Mission-aligned individuals
Investors who want a purpose beyond returns: keeping farms working, Main Street open, and the skills of the trades alive for the next generation.
Lenders & debt partners
Senior, mezzanine, land, and government-guaranteed lenders financing acquisition and growth against established, cash-generative businesses and the land beneath them.
Foundation PRIs
Foundations seeking program-related investments that strengthen rural economies, protect working land, and preserve local employers.
Agricultural impact
Capital focused on family farms and food systems — local processing, resilient supply, and the next generation on the land.
Looking further out, we believe this kind of ownership is worth widening — and we’re building toward a future where more people can take part in preserving American businesses. More on that in time.
